Alameda County Public Health Department, Nutrition Services is kicking off our 6th annual Soda Free Summer Campaign. The movement continues to grow in the six Bay Area sugar savvy counties and look for the Rethink Your Drink campaign, expanding across the state this summer. These campaigns have inspired thousands of residents and dozens of organizations to make a lasting commitment to good health by reducing and eliminating sweetened beverages and high sugar foods.  And now it’s your turn.  We invite you to…

Instead of soda, commit to drinking:

  • Water (everyday — all you want!)

  • Non-fat or Low-fat Milk

  • 100% Fruit Juice (limit juice to 1/2 cup daily)

  • Unsweetened Iced Tea
